ALEJANDRO FITZMAURICE
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Alejandro
is the visionary behind Fitzmaurice Tours. He has twenty
years of experience in educational travel to Mexico. A
native from Merida, capital city of the Mexican state of
Yucatan, Alejandro has also lived in the U.S.A for several
years. He has a Masters in Business Administration from
Anahuac-Mayab University in Merida, Mexico.
After
graduating from the university, Alejandro started working as
a Tour Director for a well-known educational travel company
based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Alejandro spent 10 years leading
American and Canadian students throughout Mexico. His
willingness to share his own personal insights, love, and
pride for his culture and nation greatly enriched travel
experiences of hundreds of students and teachers.
Having many
years of hands-on experience leading educational tour groups
in Mexico, Alejandro became determined to establish the
premier educational travel company in the industry. In 1999,
he founded Fitzmaurice Tours with the belief that traveling
to Mexico changes lives. Knowing the important difference
between a trip that's mediocre and one that's extraordinary,
he built Fitzmaurice Tours from a deep belief and
understanding that travelers deserve the best— from
itinerary development to hotels to perhaps most importantly,
the people hired as Tour Directors and Sightseeing Guides
who ensure in countless ways that the tour to Mexico is the
experience of a lifetime.
Over the
years, Fitzmaurice Tours has added new destinations,
launched new trip types and hired more staff. Even with all
these changes, Alejandro’s commitment to quality has only
become stronger. |
